Jennifer Eddins
I would like to tell you about a wonderful teacher, Ms. Eddins. I feel it is very important for me to nominate her for outstanding teacher for 2 reasons. My son is leaving West Wilson Middle School behind this year and heading to high school in the fall. This all happened much sooner than anyone anticipated due to the devastating Covid virus in our nation. This is our way of honoring this lovely lady that he didn’t get to say goodbye to. She was pivotal to his 6th grade year. She made him love and understand math. She was his favorite teacher that year and has remained his favorite middle school teacher throughout his years there.
My second reason for nominating her is before school was closed for the virus, on March 2nd, the school suffered a devastating tragedy when a tornado destroyed the school. Ms. Eddins lost everything in her classroom. I would love for her to receive this money to help replace anything she needs. This is our way of honoring her. Teachers are so, so important to our students lives. We understand that now more than ever. Thank you Ms. Eddins for the difference you have made in my son’s life. He will never forget his middle school years and especially 6th grade math with you.
