Mr. Moon has made positive differences in so many students lives he has taught & still teaching, he inspires students to reach for the stars & never give up. He provides each student the support & guidance they need to get thru each school day. Derek is always kind & understanding, he always has a smile on his face & ready to start each & every day with students with nothing but pure love. Mr. Moon wants his students to always strive to do their best at everything. Derek truly cares for each student & helps them through difficult times whether it be at school or something they are going thru in life. Derek is a great teacher, caring mentor, and friend. He genuinely cares for the students & that’s why I think Mr. Moon deserves this award.
